In Pictures: Venice

A picture is apparently worth a thousand words, so instead of writing a few thousand more words about my time in Venice here are some of my favourite pictures from the trip!

I was barely off the plane when I saw this guy playing the ukelele on the walkway at Marco Polo airport!

This shop near the Rialto Bridge is full of notebooks handmade by the owner herself!

“Whatchoo lookin’ at?”

Stadio Pierluigi Penzo – home of Venezia F.C.

“What do you mean you’re out of gold face paint?!”

I asked if it was OK to take this picture. He said yes, but his face says something different.

Bit grim.

I said this guy looked like Christoph Waltz. The rest of the party politely disagreed.

There’s definitely something deep and meaningful to be taken from this.

Keep looking – you’ll spot it.

This way please.

Having a crafty one.

And finally, the Venetian sunset!
